Alice once claimed that “we were the group that drove a stake through the heart of the love generation;” not hard to do when your act consists of the lead singer dressing up as a raving lunatic who eventually ends up strangling his nurse onstage. By turning his stage into a theater in every performance, Alice not only changed the face of Rock ‘n’ Roll, but he set precedence for all Rockers to follow.
